John’s planning crew had its hands full. How do we get one rider, one follow driver, and a ton of food, medical supplies and repair kits across the country on the best possible route, in the fall, without spending too much money? Thankfully, we had the internet and many, many helpful people wanting to assist. John and Tony were able to stay at fire stations at almost all the stops across the country, and with very few exceptions, they were able to stick to the itinerary (they were even able to take time out for a Chargers game in St. Louis and pick up right where they left off!) regardless of injury, illness and detours.
